Offer Description As part of the establishment of the database containing linguistic, sociolinguistic and ethnographic data of the Atlante Linguistico Italiano, the first two volumes devoted to the "human body" will be digitized and the data will be poured into the database. They will be recoded according to the criteria of the IPA phonetic alphabet and indexed according to formal and/or etymological simplification criteria.
The work will be divided into the following stages:
Typing of maps from volumes I and II of the ALI;
Definition of correspondences between the ALI transcription and that of the IPA alphabet;
Definition of simplification and indexing criteria;
Transliteration and indexing of dialect forms.
