Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will convert customer orders for Medium Voltage switchgear into drawings and BOMs that comply with customer requirements. You will engage in technical discussions with customers at various project stages to ensure timely execution, adhering to order specifications, quality, and safety guidelines. The work model for this role is: #LI-Onsite. This position contributes to the Distribution Solutions Division within the Electrification Business Area in Dalmine. Your main responsibilities include:
- Leading technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Supporting project managers with claims, customer specifications, and safety standards.
- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction through excellent service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Selecting appropriate electrical equipment.
- Assisting customers in resolving technical issues and addressing questions about the product.
- Developing management and communication skills by collaborating with operations and quality departments.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Control, Automation, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a project engineer working with medium voltage switchgear in electrical distribution.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as SAP, EPlan, Auto CAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate level of English proficiency (both written and spoken).
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn about new technologies.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
