The Academy of English is a well-established school based in Siracusa on the east coast of Sicily. The school is a Cambridge English Platinum centre, providing certification examinations to an extensive geographical area and enjoys an excellent reputation for the quality of its courses. We have part-time and full-time positions for teachers who are enthusiastic and motivated and who ideally have experience preparing students for Cambridge exams.

Our beautiful international campus with an acre of lush Mediterranean gardens, located in the heart of Siracusa, is also home to faculty and students of our sister schools: The Italian Academy, an Italian language and culture school, and Syracuse Academy, an international school partnering with U. Qualifications
Required:
Degree
CELTA or equivalent teaching qualification, e.g. Trinity Cert Tesol
Right to work in the EU
Experience teaching young learners
Experience teaching Cambridge English exam preparation courses
Experience teaching online
Contract:
FIDEF (Italian National Confederation of Educational Institutions) contract
Teacher development workshops and staff meetings are timetabled within contracted hours.
Assistance will be given with finding suitable accommodation.
