Joining our strategic Data Science & AI Team, within the Chief Data, AI & Automation Office, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with key Decision Makers and recognized experts in the Data Science and Machine Learning field in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, enthusiastic and customer-focused environment, to strengthen Wind Tre's leadership position as an AI-powered organization.

We are looking for truly passionate Machine Learning Engineers, eager to support the operational efficiency of the entire team of Data Science & AI and generate an impact by applying data-driven methodologies and IT best practices.

Main responsibilities and activities Partner with and support Data Scientists to translate high-value business opportunities into efficient and dependable data-driven workflows.

Optimize, refactor, or re-engineer complex analyses and models within a common framework of tools and libraries.

Play a key role in the industrialization of Data Science and ML products: task orchestration, model serving, monitoring, environment definition, and migration.

Drive within the Data Science & AI Team the evolution of the Machine Learning automation architecture to spread best practices and increase operational efficiency.

Required Skills 3+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning Engineering roles.

Demonstrated experience in MLOps & Dev Ops methodologies applied to development, deployment, and industrialization of heavy data processing pipelines and complex ML and AI projects.

Solid background in Platform Engineering on Cloud environments (data platforms, distributed computing, and networking architectures); programmatic experience with the Google Cloud Platform is a plus.

Experience with modern Machine Learning algorithms (classification, clustering, forecasting, recommendation, reinforcement learning) and data-driven workflows (ingestion, cleaning, feature engineering, training, inference).

Fluent in coding with Python, SQL, and shell, particularly libraries/tools like pandas, scikit-learn, Airflow, Docker, git, MLflow, Terraform.

Experience with application and model deployment on microservices architectures.

Education Master's degree or Ph D in Computer Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent, with a solid background in Computer Science.
