Position Overview
In this role, you will assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex mechatronic systems and electronic components that drive our automated 3 D reconstruction technology. Your work will involve developing and operating precise test setups and calibrating hardware components to meet strict performance standards as well as ensuring reliable operation in real-world environments. This is an ideal opportunity for technicians with a background in electronics and mechanical systems who enjoy solving technical challenges on the ground.
Main Responsibilities
Assist in the testing, development, and maintenance of 3 D scanning systems
Develop and operate test stands for hardware components to ensure that quality and performance standards are met
Collaborate with the team to install 3 D scanners at our global client base
Assist with support for troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components with our global client base
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferable technical institute in mechatronics or similar)
English and either Italian or German
Basic knowledge of electronics
Hands-on, problem-solving mindset
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Willingness to travel occasionally for installations and client support
Nice to have:
Familiarity with using Linux/Ubuntu OS
Ability to write simple software scripts (e.g. in Python)
Passion for cameras and photography
